Birth
I was born in Bogota Colombia. I was adopted by the Maynard family when I was 2 months old. I have an older brother (Matthew) and an older sister (Allie). -
Met my Best Friend and my Sister
I met Laiken in preschool. Both of us have seen ups and downs in each other's lives and with each other. But in the end, we've always been there for each other. She's gonna be part of my life forever no matter what. -
Baptizm
I got baptized when I was 13 years old. This is when I decided to give myself to Christ. If we're being completely honest, I didn't know what I was doing. I wish I had done this later. Still, it was an outward expression of my faith. -
Got our first dog
We had been begging our parents to let us get a dog for so long, they always said no. Then Sammy popped out of a box. He has been my best friend and I love him sooooo much! -
First time at River Valley Church
I had never been to a different church than Woodbury Church of Christ. It was a weird experience for me at first, but as I got more involved, River Valley became a key part in my life and my walk with God. Helping me realize that my relationship with him had to be my own and couldn't be dependant on my parents. -
2nd place in One Act Sectionals
Our school had never done One Act before. I didn't even audition. I was selected, we did not expect to even place. All we wanted to do was to not get disqualified. We ended up getting first in pre-sectionals then getting second in sectionals. -
Italy Trip
The NLA Italy trip was one of the best weeks of my life. I got to explore the world, make new friends, and make tons of unforgettable memories. -
Teen Camp 2019
Teen camp 2019 is when I got to experience a time where I decided it was time to grow up and start thinking about what I am going to do and who I am going to become. I met some pivotal people in my life there who have stayed with me every day since then. -
MYC 2019
MYC was one of the best weekends of my life where I got to connect with people more and was able to be more in touch with God. It was a time for great discovery of myself and worship. I had my most spiritual experience there. -
Met Tyler and Haleea
I have always had a hard time with friends, but I think these ones are going to stick. They're the type of people who mean a lot to you without having to know them for that long. They care. And are forgiving. I'm so blessed to have them in my life.
