BERLIN BLOCKADE BEGINS
The Berlin blockade stopped any and all US and bBritish supply trains to go through the area. -
BERLIN AIRLIFT ENDS
After 10 months an estimated 2,245,315 tons of supplies were airlifted to the blockaded city. Which was enough to allow the allies to provide the supplies necessary to the 2.5 million living in West Berlin. -
USSR ADMITS DEFEAT
Stalin admits defeat and the blockade is lifted
