  • Battle Of Gonzales

    Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea and John Moore were involved in the battle. This battle was like the Lexington of Texas because it showed Mexico that they wouldn't give up. It was the shot heard around the world for them.
  • The Battle Of Goliad

    James Fannin and Jose de Urea were the people involved. This battle was the first time Santa Anna showed his cruel side. Instead of taking James Fannin and his men as prisoners he brutally executed and massacred them. Before this everyone, thought Santa Anna was sly and cunning, now he just seemed barbaric and Cruel.
  • Siege Of Bexar

    The people involved were "Deaf" Smith, James Bowie, James W. Fannin Jr, General Cos, and Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea. This was one of the first big wins of Texas. San Antonio was the headquarter of the Mexican Army. Taking San Antonio was a major victory because it meant that Mexico would lose their headquarters.
  • The Battle Of Concepcion

    The people involved were James Bowie, James Fannin, General Cos, and Richard Andrews. This battle impacted how the Mexicans thought of Texans. The Mexicans ambushed the Texans, and even then they won. This was while Mexico outnumbered the Texans. They took their cannon too.
  • The Alamo

    James bowie, Davy Crockett, William Travis, and Santa Anna. The Alamo was a small settlement of Texans. Taken over a while ago, from Mexico. There were only 189 Texans at the Alamo, while there were thousands of Mexicans ready to siege the Alamo. Their going after the Alamo like this shows they were ready to take out the rebels. When the Alamo fell it was a sign they were going after the rest of the settlements.
  • Runaway Scrape

    The people involved were the people of Goliad, Capt R.E Handy, Sam Houston, Suzzanna Dickinson, Santa Anna, and "Deaf" Smith. The people of Gonzales would have been slaughtered and Mexico would have pillaged their homes. The people of Goliad kept hope and their lives.
