The union held them back due to the "Hornet's Nest" which is a sunken road that held all of them back.

The confederates were outnumbered so they had to surrender to the north.

The battle of Shiloh is officially over.

Results: The Union outnumbered the Confederates by around 20,000 soldiers which was the main reason they won the battle. The Confederate had 10,000 injured and 1,700 killed. The Union had 13,000 injured and 1,700 killed as well.
