    A group of the Yirrkala people in the Northern Territory, were deprived of 300 square kilometres of their tradtionstional land. That had been given to the Nabalco, a large mining company; by the Government.
  • The Wave Hill Protest

    More than 200 Indigenous workers from the Gurinji, took their families and walked off the Wave Hill Cattle station.
  • Lost their Fight

    The Yolngu people lost their fights against the Nabalco [The mining Company] which prevented them from regaining their stolen lands, in which the Nabalco proceeded to ruin their lands.
  • Tent Embassy

    The Government had just announced that the Indigenous Community had no rights to their land, activist set up tents in which they were to be set up on the lawns of the Parliament House. Then later called the Aboriginal Tent Embassy.
  • From Little Things Big Things Grow

    Edward Woodward held an inquiry in which it found that if traditional ties could be proven, then the Indigenous land would be rightfully given back. Disregarding the Terra Nullius.
