The impresario Sergei Diaghilev died. With his death the ballet russe that opened in 1909 closed as well. -
Resurrection beginning
George Balanchine became the new dance master and brought the baby ballerinas : Tamara toumanova, Tania Riabouchinska, and Irina Boranova. Critics stated that "Ballet Russe de Monte-Carlo was the authentic air to Diaghilev's Ballet Russe". -
To the Americas
Ballet de Monte-Carlo went to the USA where Sol Hurok booked their first American Tour when America still didn't know much about ballet.By 1935 they had performed for over 3 million people. -
War beginning
Blum left the company and Basil and Massine ended up having legal fights over everything connected to Ballet Russe de Monet-Carlo. The epeciall fought over dancers. -

When the war broke out, most of the dancers relocated with a mass migration to America. Sol Hurok took responsibilities and helped both companies find work. The Ballet Russe de Monte-Carlo was changed to The Original Ballet Russe. -
