Pizarro invades the inca empire
Conquistador Francisco Pizarro went to Peru in search of wealth from the incan empire. When he got there smallpox had just swept through so the empire was already weak, this disease had also killed their emperor. Because of this, a new ruler named Atahualpa had taken control and there was a civil war going on. -
