    In 2010, I graduated from Notre Dame Ecole Secondaire High School in Red Deer, Alberta. I knew after I recieved my high school diploma that I wanted to pursue post-secondary educaiton.

    Red Deer College- Upgrading
    I knew right after graduating high school that I wanted to pursue a career in education. However, I needed to work for a bit to asve money for school. In the winter of 2012, I started attending Red Deer College for one semseter to complete the prerequiste courses required to enter into the Bacehlor of Education program.

    Bachelor of Education
    In the summer of 2012 I was accapted into the Bachelor of Education program at Red Deer College. I started this program in September, 2012. This was the beggining of my journey into the profession of teaching.
  • Westpark Elementary

    Westpark Elementary
    In my first year of my Bachelor of Education I wanted to get some experince working with kids, so I volunteered in a kindergarten class at Westpark Elementary school. I did this from January-June 2013 and it was a great opportunity. It really made me realize that I was in the right profession and got me even more intriguied to working with studentds in the near future.

    In January of 2014, my second year of my Bachelor of Eduaction, I recieved the President's Honour Roll at Red Deer College.
  • Diploma in University Transfer Studies

    Diploma in University Transfer Studies
    After completing two years of my Bachelor of Education at Red Deer College, I recieved my diploma in University Transfer Studies.
  • University of Alberta

    University of Alberta
    In July of 2014, I recieved acceptance to the competitve Middle Years program offered at the Red Deer College in collaboration with the University of Alberta.
  • Belcourt Brosseau Metis Award

    Belcourt Brosseau Metis Award
    In September of 2014, my third year of my education, I recieved the Belcourt Brosseau Metis Award. This is a scholarship awarded to successful Metis students in degree programs. When I recieved my award I was sashed my a Metis elder, and this was a very sacred ceremony that I will cherish forever.
  • Middle Years Program

    Middle Years Program
    In September of 2014 I began my journey in University as a student in the Middle Years Program.
  • 5 Week IFX

    5 Week IFX
    In November of 2014, I completed my first five week field experience. I had the wonderful opportunity to complete this practicum at St. Francis of Assisi Middle School. It was an overall great experience.

    Jason Lang Scholarship
    In December of 2014 I recived a scholarship from Jason Lang for my successful 2014 winter term during my second year of study.
  • Science Fair

    Science Fair
    In March 2015, I was granted an opportunity to volunteer as a judge at the Central Alberta Science Fair. This was a great experience and I was given the chance to view and assess many amazing science projects.
  • Science Camp Instructor

    Science Camp Instructor
    After completing my thrid year of education, I was hired to work as a science camp instructor at Red Deer College for the summer. This job was a great learning experience and I was able to work hands on with a various age groups of students.

    In September of 2015, I began my final year of study in my Bachelor of Education.

    In December of 2015 I recived a scholarship from Jason Lang for my successful 2015 winter term during my third year of study. This was my second time recieving this scholarship and is a reminder that hard work always pays off.
