  • Henri de St-Simon and Auguste Comte

    In the year 1817 Comte met French Businessman Henri de St-Simon, who appointed Comte as his secretary which put him directly into the realm of politics. While serving under St-Simon from the years 1817-1824, Comte would go on to develop his early writings, in which he would later revise in the coming years.   • The Early Writings (1820-1829)

    Between 1820-1829 Comte had released many articles or magazines that did not garner fame for over a decade. Comte had spoken of the important and natural roles in history, as well as society under industry and the effect and power of religious beliefs. These served as an introduction into the mind of Comte. Transforming science into philosophy, and philosophy into religion.

Comte takes into account the nature of humanities search: through religion, the causation of existence, and the fall back on science. As well as classifications of science and philosophy of science.
