    The Portugese brought over African slaves in 1511. They were brought over on boats with very harsh conditions. Many Africans died because of the harsh conditions. The Africans weren't actually captured by Europeans but by Africans and then they traded them to the Europeans this is called the Atlantic slave trade

     Cortés conquers Aztec Empire
    After the Americas were discovered by Columbus the Spanish sent Cortés over to the Americas. Cortés was a conquistador who conquered the mighty Aztec empire in 1521. The Aztecs invited him into their city Tenochtitlan, ofered him riches, but he eventually turned on them for he wanted more riches. He was able to d this by using his lover, La Malinche who could speak both Nahuatl and Spanish.

    Pizarro was another Spanish conquistador who conquered the Inca under the rule of Atahualpa. Atahualpa was kidnapped by Pizarro and killed, Pizarro then conquered the Incas. The Spanish also had the advantage of horses.

A lot of the Indians fought with the French as the English were taking their land, but some fought with the English, this is why it is called The French and Indian War ends The French obvously lost because of a lack of soldiers in comparison to The English.The English gained control of most of the eastern half of America.
