My first experience with a computer was when I was in the 7th grade taking computer technology and we were writing our programs in binary code, it took about nine weeks to make a smiley face, not like the emoji's of today. -

Boom Box
This was what portable music was before MP3's. It took 6 D batteries and lasted about 2 hours. We had to use cassette tapes to record anything. I saw these at our school dances and functions. -
Fax Machine
This was the first fax machine I ever used, I used this as a student worker in high school. -
Phones
This was the phone we used as a student worker. -
My first cell phone
This was the first cell phone that I owned, this was my new mode of communicating with my school, as well as a computer. -
Laptop
This was the first laptop I owned, the convenience made school simpler. -
Tablet
This was the first tablet I ever used, I'm more of a digital immigrant than I thought. I used this while attending beauty school to showcase my work. -
Current Phone
This is the phone I have now, and pretty much can't live without it. I use it for everything from everyday life to school. How the times have changed. -
Laptop
This is the laptop I currently use as a visual media student. I does just about anything I want.
