My cousin passed away from cancer
My cousin, who was two years older than me died of cancer. Nicole taught me so much about being cheery and optimistic in the saddest and hardest of times. Event that marked my transition form childhood to adulthood within my family

Living in Quincy my whole life, Boston was only a 15 minute train ride away. My friend Mary Jo lived in Boston and she helped me learn about being safe on the T and how to get around. After this, we went into Boston evey weekend and explored something new! Explorer

Won the Founder's Night History Paper Award
This was a huge achievement for me because I hadn't been doing well in my studies, but I happened to feel challenged and excited about the infamous Junior Year History Paper Award. I chose Thomas Jefferson as my subject and ended up really enjoying the experience of writing the - known as dreadful - assignment. Academic success
