  • The Annapolis Convention

    At this convention Alexander Hamilton persuaded the delegates to call for another convention in Philadelphia. Thus came the date for the first constitutional convention.

  • Shay's rebellion

    This rebellion ocurred due to the economic troubles caused by the unstable rule of the articles of confederation.A group of farmers led by Daniel Shay Closed down courts as protest. This showed exactly how bad the economic troubles were.

  • Constitutional Convention

    This meeting was orgianally to revise the Articles of Confederation, but instead it built the path to the new constitution.
