Mosaïque de la Déisis
Artist: unkown
This work of art is truly amazing for a Byzantine artstyle, since the detail is tremendous. The artist used simple tiny colored pebbles of sorts to make it and that tecture fits pefectly with the hair and beards of the characters in the peice of art. -

Creación de Adám
Artist: Michelangelo Buonarroti
This painting is one of my favorite of the Renaissance style paintings. It illustrates the creation of Adam as said in the Bible. It was made by the artist on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. It shows the dedication of the artist to make such a detailed pice at such a high place. -

The Harvesters
Artist: Pieter Brueghel the Elder
This poice from is a landscape style painting that shows some farmers harveszting the field while others rest and take short breaks under the shade of a tree, away from the sun. It is a really great peice seeing as to how old it is. -
The Adoration of the Shepherds
ArtistL Gerard van Honthorst
This peice is from the Barque style times and it shows people surrounding Jesus as a child. This painting really pulled me in because it reminded me of how my family rounds up around children and just looks at the with a smile on their face much like this painting. -
The wanderer above the sea of fog
Artist: Caspar David Friedrich
This painting using the romanticism style is one of my favorites. It shows a man staring into the fog or c above the clouds, on the tip of the mountain. To me it shows adventure since the man put himself through hell to climb that mountian to get the view only a handfull get. -
A Norman Milkmaid
Artist: Jean-François Millet
This painting uses the style from the impressionism times. It is really amazing because instead of focusing on the face the artist perfects the background of clounds and grass. Since she is a normal milkmaid her face is enver remembered so it is not painted. -
Redon spirit-waters
Artist: Odilon Redon
This work of art is one of the first modernism art forms, it was made at france. This artist used charcole to amek a bizzare looking face istead of a sun in the sky, this could have many meanings, but each person looks at it in his own special way, that is why i chose it. -
Wheatstacks (End of Summer)
Artist: Claude Monet
This painting is a favorite of mine because at the time it was made most impressionism paintings focus on people and crowds. This artist decided to focus on a simple wheatstack, which makes his work delightful and amusing.
