    The anatomical model that we know today has gone through extensive changes throughout the years. From the exploration and discovery of new parts, to simply labeling all the parts. In 1560 the labeling of the body parts was by letter and number, there were no names yet.

    In 1605, Caspar Bauhin developed an Anatomical textbook. In it were illustrations of the human anatomy done by various people. This textbook provided significant importance to the medical community as in this book Bauhin started naming the anatomy instead of using numbers and letters.

    As time goes on, more and more anatomical models are developed. In the past a lot of the focus was on musculoskeletal diagrams. The picture on the left is the skeletal and nervous systems, the one on the right is the circulatory system and internal organs.
