1948 War

The Six Day War

Israel captured the West Bank and east Jerusalem from Jordan, the Golan Heights from Syria, and the Gaza Strip and all of the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt. More Palestinians and Jews became refugees. The October War of Yom Kippur

The Second Intifada
Palestinians claimed that Sharon's visit was provocative and began a riot. This caused bloodshed and suffering on both sides. Israel's military returned to major population centers in the territories and carried out operations against terrorist targets. Since terrorists operate among the civilian population, Palestinian civilians were also unintentional victims of the intifada. Israel built a wall separating itself from the West Bank. The outcome of this was that it reduced the number of suicide bombings coming from that area, but left controversy in Palestine as a result. This was from 2002 and was ongoing. -

Israel Disengages from Gaza
Physical separation of Israel from Palestine territories, Israel should withdraw from the Gaza Strip. Since Israel withdraw from Gaza, this caused the number of rockets fired by terrorists from Gaza into Israel increased greatly. -
Hamas Is Elected
Palestinians elected a majority of Hamas members to the PLO party. The outcome of this was that they declared that these sanctions would be lifted once Hamas recognized Israel's right to exist and accepted agreements. -

The Gaza flotilla raid was a military operation by Israel against six civilian ships of the, Gaza Freedom Flotilla, on May 31, 2010 in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea. The outcome of this was many people from Turkey were killed. And Turkey and Israel were allies but ended up becoming enemies. -

Arab citizens began to protest against autocratic and oppressive governments. The outcome of this was that a few political leaders have fled or stepped down, otherwise ongoing outcome.
