Oxygen Tank Explodes
Oxygen Tank inside service module at 9:07 P.M. . This is also when the popular line "Houston, We've Had a Problem" was created. -
Return
At 2:43 A.M. , they use the gravity of the moon to pull Aquarius in to a free-return trajectory. -
Viewing the Moon
When they orbit behind the moon at 6:15 P.M. , radio contact is lost, and Haise and Swigert get a close up look at the moon. -
Another Explosion
The Aquarius's 2nd battery explodes destroying 1/4 of the power that was remaining. -
Off Course
The crew fires the Aquarius's engine again to correct the path it was on after drifting off course. -
Viewing the Damage
The crew was rid of the service module so the crew could see the damage done to the ship. -
Returning to the Odyssey
The crew returns to the Odyssey to jettison Aquarius -
Re-Entry
The crew begins re--entry and loses contact with mission control. -
Landing
The crew splashes down and aboard a recovery helicopter and ship.
