Banned marriages between whites and non-whites. -
Population Registration Act No. 30
Required people to register at birth into one of four distinct racial groups. -
Reservation of Separate Amenities Act No. 49
Allowed for amenities to be restricted to a particular race. -
Extension of University Education Act No. 45
Empowered minister of education to designate colleges for specific African ethnic groups. -
Black Labour Act No. 67
Consolidated the laws regulating the recruiting, employment, accommodation, feeding and health conditions of black laborers.
