    This law was a continuation of the 1945 Urban Areas Consolidation Act. It stated that black people that were born in the urban areas and had been staying there for the most of their life were entitled to stay

    This amended the 1963 General Law Amendment. This would extend the investigation of the Sobukwe clause.
