    Paleolithic to Neolithic shift.

12,000 years ago the world shifted from the Paleolithic revolution to the neolithic revolution...from water and hunter-gathering to cultivated beer and barley and wheat. During this shift, there was also the development of writing and to keep track of the beer production/distribution and agriculture. New technologies helped them to raise animals and grow different crops. Without the domestication and farming, beer and other man made drinks would not be possible.
