    After the fall of the Roman Empire, Europe moved to a decentralized form of governing through Feudalism. While China was advancing through trade and technology, Europe was struggling to survive. It will take hundreds of years for Europe to recover and develop trade and technology equal to East Asia.

    Mesoamerican Empires

    Mesoamerican Empires
    In Mexico and Peru, two major civilizations developed, the Aztec and Inca. They both came to power through conquest and controlled vast territories with great wealth. They also used advanced technology in creating their empires. The Aztec built floating gardens called Chinampas to grow crops while the Inca were know for their vast road system used for trade and communication.
