Anne is running out of things to write about.
She now describes a "typical" day from mid-afternoon through the evening meal: Mr. van Daan getting served first, Mrs. van Daan giving everyone advice, Peter being quiet, Mr. Dussel hogging all of the food.

Anne gets new shoes (high heels), which everyone admires.
Anne does a bunch of clumsy things and ends up with a hurt finger, hurt toe, and bump on her head.

  • Secret Annex

Anne describes the early morning, before breakfast, which seems to be the only time the Franks have a bit of real family time.
At 8:30am they have to stop using water, flushing the toilet, and making noise because the office workers start showing up.
The Franks settle in to reading, knitting, and having quiet family time.
