Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany to Otto Frank and Edith Frank. She had an older sister, Margot Frank. -

Germany passes the Nuremburg Race Laws that deprive German Jews of their citizenship, businesses, and their right to education. -

Anne's Family Goes Into Hiding

The Final Entry
The final entry is made in Anne Frank's diary. They were all sent to an overcrowded prison on the Westeringchans where they stayed for two nights. They were sent to Westerbork transit camp and assigned to the Punishment Barracks for hard labor as they were considered to be criminals as they were found in hiding. Once at Auschwitz the men are separated from the women. -
The End
Anne's mother dies from starvation. Otto Frank survives with other survivors. Margot Frank died of typhus. Anne Frank dies from typhus. Otto Frank returns to Amsterdam without know if his family is still alive. Otto recieves word that Anne and Margot died. Hitler commits suicide with his wife of two days. Germany surrenders to end World War II
