Battle of Gonzales
Texans refuse to give up the cannon to Mexican forces and Santa Anna didn't follow the constitution of 1824. This led to the battle of Gonzales which Texas won. -
Capture of Goliad
Attack the Mexican garrison because there was fewer than 30
people there the people involved were Martin perfecto de
Cos, George Collinsworth,and Ben Milam. Texans won and more people joined the rebel army. -
Grass Fight
Stephen F. Austin and Edward Burleson attempted to cut off the supply routes, some were disappointed some thought it was successful. It's called Grass fight because there was a rumor that 100 Mexican soldiers were carrying gold, when they found them the bags were filled with grass. -
Capture/Battle of San Antonio
Ben Milam and Francis W. Johnson tried to force the Mexican troops out of San Antonio, Texas won. (Cos's surrender) -
Battle of the Alamo
13 Days of fighting Texas lost to Mexico and all the Texan soldiers died. Runaway Scrape begins, Sam Houston and TX retreated eastward towards the US determined to go back later and defeat Santa Anna.
