Smart devices were incredibly useful and were first founded in the 1990s but have expanded more in the 2010s. There were smart phones like Siri and Alexa. Siri was founded by Dag Kittlaus, Adam Cheyer and Tom Gruber. While Alexa was founded by Robit Prasad. This was a big help in asking what you want to know with a quick “hey siri or Alexa”. -
iPad
The iPad was founded by Steve Jobs. It was released in January of 2010 and it sold quite well especially now in 2023. The iPad was a good middle between phone and computer. For people it’s also good to give to kids to stop bothering them for their phone. Almost like a portable TV. -
AI
An Ai named the IBM Watson won a game of jeopardy. This was exciting news to hear an AI beat humans in a game, this was the growing of AI and this shows it. The founder was Thomas J. Ferrucci. -
Chromebook
The Chromebook was first introduced in 2006, but in 2011 a new Chromebook came out better. Eric Schmidt made the Google Chromebook, it changed for good since people can use it as a personal computer and it’s like a tablet and computer combined. -
Apple Pay
Before people payed with card or cash but in 2014, Khan and six others invented the Apple Pay. Instead of credit or debit cards and having to find it, you could simply hold out your phone and pay. This new technology made paying easier and fast, plus you don’t have to go around your bag looking for your card to pay or if you forget it.
