The Death of the Great Barrier Reef

    Global Warming Begins
Global warming is the process of the earth heating up from greenhouse gases trapping heat. Pollution has caused a hole in the ozone layer of our atmosphere and let in radiation from the sun and its being trapped by the greenhouse gases. Now because of this hole the water is rising and heating up. That sounds nice but it's very bad. The water is heating up and certain animals can't live inside of it and they have nowhere to go. Coral is alive and is dying from the heat.

The cycle outbreak started in 2010 and had them eating the coral of faster growing coral like staghorn and plate coral. It helps the other coral to live longer and form colonies but this is more difficult because of the bleaching. The coral can't grow fast enough and the starfish are eating most of the coral that is bleached so the coral is in danger.
