George Washington
George Washington was an American leader during the revolutionary war. He was also a founding father of American and was the first ever president of the United States. He served as president from 1789 to 1797 and was recognized as an American hero. He as born on February 22, 1732 and died on December 14, 1799. -
The stamp act
On March 22, 1765, the British put a new law called the Stamp act on the colonists which made the colonists have to pay a tax for every piece of paper that they used. The colonists would often tar and feather the tax collectors and sometimes even killed the British tax collectors. -
The Quartering Act
On March 24, 1765, Parliament passed a law stating that the colonists had to house and accommodate British soldiers. Mind that the colonists did not like this. -
the Boston Massacre
On March 5, 1770 a group of colonists started to protest through the Boston streets. British soldiers were sent to stop them but colonist threw rocks at them. No one knows who said "fire" but that's when the British soldiers fired int the crowd killing 5 colonists. -
The tea act
The Tea act was a tax put on the colonists for when tea was imported into the Colonies. once again, mind that the colonists didn't like this. -
Boston tea party
On December 16, 1773 a group of colonists dressed up as Mohawk Indians dumbed British tea in the Boston harbor. -

Nathan Hale
Nathan Hale was an American spy during the Revolutionary war and Was captured by the British and executed. His final words were, "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country." -
The Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris was the treaty that ended the revolutionary war and was helped made by the French. The treaty also declared peace in the whole continent of America. -
