This proclamation, passed by the king, stated than the colonists couldn't encroach west of the Appalachisan Mountains. -
Stamp Act
This act put a tax on paper and other things such as playing cards, advertisements, and dice. -
Sons and Daughters of Liberty
The Sons and Daughters of Libeerty were active rebellion groups. The Sons of Liberty were more violent in their rebelling. They would burn homes and threaten royal officials. The Daughters were less violent. Instead of being violent they made their own clothes to aviod buying English fabric. They called their sewing sessions spinning bees. -
Stamp Act Congress
The Stamp Act Congress was the diplomatic body that sent their opinions about the Stamp Act to the king. They also served as a represenative in the Continential Congress for the colonists.
