Sugar Act
The British taxed on sugar, wine and other important things because they wanted to have more money. with this money they protected the colonists. -
The stamp act
It was the parliament's first serious attempt to assert government authority over colonies. The major purpose was to raise money in the colonies in order to help support the British troops. -

A crowd of Bostians slinging snowballs gathered around British soldiers guardind the Boston customs House. In response the soldiers fired the crowd and five colonists were kill,even though they were order not to fire. -

The colonists stormed into the boston harbor and dumped 23 thousand pounds of tea into the harbor. -

george III put on the colonies. He did this because it was a punishment for dumping tea into the harbor. -

Surrender at Yorktown
The British occupied the New York city. British sent troops to Yorktown Virginia. General Cornwails brought 8000 British troops and expected to recieve ships from New York but they nevr got there. That's when the 13 colonies found their opportunity to attack.
