    This was the last tax on good. This act taxed one of the most popular things there, tea. They taxed tea due to the Boston Tea Party.

    This was a law passed after the Boston Tea Party.These laws were meant to punish Massachusetts colonists for their defiance in the Tea Party. In Great Britain, these laws were referred to as the Coercive Acts.

    It is considered the turning point for the American Revolution Era. 5,895 British and Hessian troops surrendered their arm on October 17, 1777.
  • Valley Forge

    Valley Forge is where General George Washington help his troops for about six months (12/19/1777 to 6/19/1777). This was a few miles from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They struggled with things like hunger, dehydration and disease.
  • Treaty of Paris

    A treaty signed between King George III of Great Britain and representatives of the United States of America to stop the American Revolution.
