A war between France and Britian over the control of land and the fur trade. Also known as the Seven Year War. The British win and they gain control of the Mississippi River. Also parts of Canada. -
Proclamation of 1763
It was an imaginary line drawn by British officials that kept the colonist from settling West of the Appalacian Mountains. The law angered many colonist. -

All sugar and molasses coming into the colonies would be taxed.
