Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 builds the tension, leading to the want for war between the British and the Colonist since they no longer have the freedom to cross that line. They just fought in this war for the British that they did not even want to do. So in return they thought they would at least get something out of it. The Stamp Act
The colonist got really mad when they did this because, they were having to pay this tax, and they have no say in it at the government level. "Taxation without representation." The Boston Massacre
When the British took the first fire, it sent the Colonist in to panic. They got really mad, even if they were a part of why the British fired in the first place. Tea Act
After the Sons and Daughters of Liberty threw all of the tea off the ship in the Boston Harbor, the British got mad. So in response they put the Tea Acts in place. It taxed them for their tea and other things to make them pay back for the money they had lost. After the Sons and Daughters of Liberty throw off all of the British's tea, the tension grew even more. This made the British really mad since they had lost lots of money and tea. The Green Mountain Boys

During the 6 months that the soldiers were staying at Valley Forge, they were trained, and hopefully took some time to heal. As they are getting better trained, they will win more battles aginsed the British. War in the South/Charleston
The British were forced to start moving down south because the battles in the North were not going well. They could also not go west because of the Proclamation of 1763. The Battle of Yorktown
How the French navy and troops surrounded the British at Yorktown, eventually lead the British to surrender from the war. They decide to do this because they could not keep fighting, they did not have enough supplies for their men.
