Battle of Little Bighorn
This battle was significant because it was one of the only battles between the Native Americans and American troops where the Native Trube won. Not only did they win, but the Natives killed every American Soldier. The Souix tribe led by Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse won against George Cluster. -

In the election of 1872, Horace Greeley ran against Ulysses Grant. Greeley was a bad candidate. As a result, Grant won. Greeley ended up dying the day after the election. -

In the election of 1876, between Rutherford Hayes and Samuel Tilden, neither of them had enough votes to win. So as a result, the decision went to congress. They made a compromise between the republicans and the democrats. The republicans got the presidency and the democrats got an end to reconstruction. -
