    Constitutional convention
    Articles of Confederation were not working becase they gave the majority of the power to the states, there was no ability by the federal government to enfore laws, and there were no courts. For these reasons and many more, the decision was made to revise. However, a radical decision was also made later during the convention that it was not possible to make a perfectly functioning society with these articles, so they decided to seceretly re-write the law into what we know now as the Constitution.

Therefore, the decision was made that missouri could enter the union if maine became a free state, which it did, and also a compromise was made at the 36*30 line. Any state above would be a free state, and state below would be a slave state.

    The industrial revoltion lead to a HUGE demand in textile and other goods, so manual labor was very important, and an easy way for both struggling families and lavish companies to have pofit. Childeren worked under harsh conditions, being woken up very early and not allowed to sleep at all, with 20 min lunch breaks at the most and they worked around dangerous machines that could easily cause them to loose a limb or a few fingers.

    The civil was a war between the northern and southern states of the united states, over economic, political and social probelms. Slaver was also a cuase of this revolution, becuase the Northern states wanted to abolish slavery, and the southern states who depended on agriculture and those slaves, refused to do so, even thought they were not treated then well at all. Aberham Loncoln, the president during this war, issued the emancipation proclamation which allowed all slaves to be free.
