    World War 1 started in 1914 and ended in 1918. It was mainly fought in Europe but also in Africa and in the Middle East. The war was fought on the one side the Allied: Russia, British Empire, France, Italy, United States and others, on the other side the Central Power: Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. The war started because of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, this caused the war between Austria-Hungary and Serbia, which provoked the World War 1.

    World war 2 started in 1939 and ended in 1945Second World War was fought in Europe, Pacific, Atlantic, South-East Asia, China, Middle East and Africa. The allied were Soviet Union, United States, British Empire, France and others. The Axis were Germany, Japan and others.Second World War was the biggest military conflict in history. It included almost the entire world and involved more countries than ever seen before.

    The Korean War started in 1950 and ended in 1953. Korea was divided in two - North Korea and South Korea. The United States controlled South Korea, and the Soviet Union controlled North Korea. Korea was divided as a consequence of World War II.

    The Falklands War

    The Falklands War was fought between Argentina and the United Kingdom. It started 2 April 1982 and lasted for 74 days. The war was trigged by Argentina invading the Falkland Islands. The war ended when Argentina surrendered, and the Falkland Islands remained subsequently under British control.

    The then leader of Iraq Saddam Hussein occupied Kuwait in 1990, so that he could get hold of Kuwait’s oil wells. The Arab league, The United States, The United Kingdom and others intervened to stop Iraq’s invasion. The war was mainly fought in Iraq and Kuwait. It ended in 1991 with a defeat for Iraq, mainly because of the coalition military superiority.

    War in Afghanistan

    10/07/2001 to 10/05/2011 The ongoing war in Afghanistan is a consequence of the 9/11 attacks. The war is located in Afghanistan, a war mainly fought between: on the one side USA, United Kingdom, and on the other side Taliban and Al Qaeda. Up to now the coalition has been able to kill Osama Bin Laden, destroy Al-Qaeda camps and being an accomplice to the fall of the Taliban government.

    The Iraq War In 2003

    03/20/2003 to 09/10/2010The United States of America and the United Kingdom invaded Iraq, caused by suspicion of mass destruction weapons, terrorism and with the intent to remove Saddam Hussein. In 2010 President Barack Obama ended the war in Iraq, by announcing that soldiers would be pulled out of Iraq, although some would remain to help with the rebuilding of Iraq. Soldiers where able to remove Saddam Hussein, but they did not find any weapons of mass destruction.
