Old Television (2005)
Television is an important part of our lives. We use this to watch our favorite shows and to gather information. I remember watching some nursery rhymes on the tv. I lived with my grandparents in the province so I was not exposed to media that early. After I went to Manila, I then experienced the joy of watching cartoons and educational videos. -
CD PLAYER (2007)
It is a known fact that music has a great effect on our lives. We listen to songs on a daily basis. I remember my mom carrying a big circular cd player so we could listen to it when we travel or when we go out. It was handy back then and it's fun to think about how we carried that when we go out. -
SONY ERICSSON W200i (2007)
Cellphones back then were only used for relaying information and contacting people. My mom used to own this cellphone but she gave it to me for the purpose of contacting me when I go to school. She wanted me to start being independent at such an early age. -
HOME TELEPHONE (2009)
Aside from cell phones, home phones were also used to connect with other people. I used to play pretend while using home telephones. I would answer them as if I was in a call center. I guess having home telephones developed my communication skills. -
PERSONAL COMPUTER (2010)
Personal Computers are mostly used for gathering information and data. I used this to research about my homework and to play games. I would also play those games with my mom and it became our bonding time. -
GOOGLE (2010)
Google is a search engine that provides information for those who need it. In doing my homework and when I study I frequently use Google to search for articles and data to support my knowledge. -
YAHOO! (2010)
Yahoo! is an Internet portal that incorporates a search engine and a directory of World Wide Web sites organized in a hierarchy of topic categories. Yahoo! is also used for connecting with other people in different forms like messenger and mail. I use Yahoo! for communicating with my friends, I especially loved playing with the emojis. -
YOUTUBE (2011)
Youtube is a video sharing website that allows users to watch videos of their favorite shows or groups. It also lets people comment on the videos they love. Youtube is a very important application for me. This is where I can watch videos fo my favorite shows and groups online. I can subscribe and monitor what they do to make it easier for me to connect with them. -
LAPTOP (2011)
A laptop is a computer that is portable and suitable for use while traveling. The laptop was a gift given to me by my father so that I can use it for school reports and presentations. It was a precious gift for me, that's probably the reason why I had it with me till I was in Grade 10. It contained so many memories, pictures, documents and stuff I loved. -
MP4 (2011)
An MP4 is a portable music and video player. This MP4 was given to me by my aunt because she knew about my love for music. I always brought my MP4 with me when I traveled because listening to music relaxes me. -
IPAD MINI (2013)
An Ipad Mini is a smaller version of an Ipad which is a portable tablet computer. It has various applications much like a laptop. This Ipad Mini was given to me as a graduation gift. It was my parents' reward for me. They wanted to let me know that If I work hard for something, many good things will come out of it. They used this as a motivation for me to persevere and work hard. -
TV (2013)
Television models change as time passes. It develops and improves to provide better entertainment functions for everyone. I really wanted to have a tv in my own room and I asked my parents for one. They gave it to me in the hopes that I could relax when I needed to. Having a tv in my own room before changed my study habits because I got used to its sound when I study. Now, whenever I study I prefer if the tv is open. -
TWITTER (2014)
Twitter is an application where people can broadcast small short messages to tell about their day. It's a communication app that connects people even famous artists over the world. I started using this app because of my friends. They told me that it was a fun thing to do and so I did it. I learned about fan accounts and I made my own. I separated it from my personal account so that it'll be easier for me to handle direct messages. I fangirled and followed my favorite artists using twitter. -
SAMSUNG TABLET (2014)
A tablet is a mini portable tablet computer that has the same functions as a computer. This tablet was also a present for me by my parents. This is much easier than using the Ipad, since it is an android it doesn't have many restrictions. I used this for school purposes. -
CELLPHONE (2014)
Cellphones became such an important gadget for us. It was more portable than that of tablets and it gave us the opportunity call and text other people. I was given a cell phone for the purpose of communicating with my parents whenever I am in school. -
LAPTOP (2016)
Laptops are portable computers suited for travel. My laptop of six years got broken so my parents bought me a new one. It was during the third quarter of my Grade 10 school year. I researched about the specs of the laptop that I wanted. I also checked if it was really worth it and luckily it was. -
PRINTER (2016)
A printer is a device that lets it print a text on paper. Along with the laptop, my mom bought me a new printer for the purpose of a more efficient text printing. I use this for my school projects and presentations. -
LG CELLPHONE (2017)
Cell phones continue to develop and improve. Its functions continue to broaden providing the user a more comfortable experience. I was given another cell phone because my other one broke. It's a very innovative and unique cellphone that's why I like it. -
SMART TV (2017)
A smart tv is also called a connected tv or hybrid tv. It's referred to as that because it lets the user connect the tv to the router providing the tv an internet connection. It's like a cell phone but very much bigger. I like this Smart Tv because I can watch movies on it online just like a movie cinema. Our gadgets never cease to amaze me because it develops and grows just like us.
