Cabeza De Vaca's Trip
De Vaca saild for Spain in 1528. While Narves and his men where in Florida they where starving so they ate there own horses. They built small boats to sail to Cuba. -

Crash Landing
De Vaca and only twenty others men survived the horrabel sea storms. They crash landed on Padre Island, one of the survivors was Narvez . -

Narvez is Ungrateful
The native people nursed them back to health. Narvez was ungrateful and killed ten of the indeans. De Vaca and the other men fleed off the island. -

On the Run
Once De Vaca and the other men reached main land they where worned be the indeans there that they where not welcome. Narvez cut the Chiefs daughters head off. The men had to resourt to running farther mainland. -
Period: Jan 1, 1533 to
Narvez's Death
When they got further main land the Native people had word on what they had done previously. De Vaca and his men had to kill Narvez so the native people would let them stay. -
Period: Jan 1, 1534 to
To Late
The indeans felt uncomfortable with the explores staying with them so they kicked them out. They all died over the freezing winter.
