kemmirch gets his leg amputaed
Kemmerich gets his leg amputated and dies afterwards with paul by his side -
new recruits
NEw recruits arrive but have no idea what war is like -
himmeltoss was beaten
somebody threw a cover over himmeltoss and beat him senseless -
the recruits ar put on the front line
The new recruits are put on the front line for the first time but kat reasure them -
a recruit is put out of his misery

tjaden gets lice buts he picks them out and kills them by them in a tin can and heating it up -
tjaden and kropp get a arrest
tjaden and kropp insults himmeltoss and tjaden gets three days arrest and kropp gets one -
Kat and paul get geese
Kat and paul bride the driver of the wagon with two cierettes to take them to the house full of geese -
they return to war
Paul and his friends return to war after leave -
rats
rats are in there trenchs and are starting to eat there food -
beatings
after a couple of days with the rats in small spaces a recruit cracks and attempts to leave but paul and a friend beat him into submission -
the attack
After days of bombing the emeny attacks but paul is ready . they throw gernades before they jump out of the trench.they ended up gaining land on the enemy -
paul visit prisoners
paul visits the russian prisoners and the more time he spends with them the harder it is to think of them as prisoners -
kropp dies
kropp contacts sometime of disease and dies -
leave for paul
paul is now the only survivor of his classmates and gets forthteen days of leave -
Paul and the french soldier
paul cralers over the battle field to find out about the enemy but on his way back a bombardment happens and he is forced to crawl into a trench.while he is there a french soldier jumps in and paul stabs him.It takes several hours for him to die but paul takes care of him til -
Muller dies
muller is shot at point blank in the abdomen and dies a half hour later -
kat has died
kat is hit in the head by a shell fragment and dies vey quickly -
paul finally dies
after years of fighting paul is fianlly killed in battle but his face is calm almost gald when he dies.On the day he ws killed a message was sent describing the day he died.The message was"all quiet on the western front"
