I was born in St. Clair Hospital on August 7th 1996 to Casey and Robin Resciniti. I was and continued to be a handful throughout my childhood. -
My Family
This is a photo of my mother, brother, and I. My father passed away when I was very young. I still get sad about it. -
Eye Surgery
When I was 6, I was diagnosed with browns syndrome and I had to have surgery. Browns does not go away, but it really doesn't limit me. Link text -
Historic Cabin
The cabin in this town is just as old as the town itself. That would be approximately 200 years. I always thought it was cool. I related to this because I lived in a log cabin as child. -
Middle School
My middle school experience was not the best. I was isolated for most of my time there and I eventually escaped through my work. Link text -
My Community
I grew up in a community where the people around only me were my mother and brother. The area I grew up in was full of racists who wanted us out and to burn our house down. But I don't credit them for creating me, if anything it made me stronger. -
High School
My high school experience went a lot smoother than middle school. I grew a thicker skin and didn't really care. This is where my confidence started to come back. Fun Fact: my school used to be a union soldier military school, and our mascot is a union soldier.

When I Wanted to be a Teacher
I found I wanted to be a teacher when I was a private tutor to a girl in middle school. The job paid well, but I caught the teaching bug after that. Here is my Pinterest link: Link text -
My Old House
This was the house I grew up in. We moved away the first year I went to college and I have no regrets about moving. It gave me insight on how exciting it is to move house.Link text -
College
I choose WU because it was closer and I really loved the education program here. I feel like I really can be myself here at WU. I met a lot of really awesome people here at WU. (picture is not ed related)
