57 people were killed and 300 people were injured in a suiside bombing on a hotel in Jordan. Three blasts occured, two of them by men strapped with explosives and one by a car bomb. The people that were killed were mostly Jordanian residents attending a wedding. -

Al qaida in Iraq has been blamed for the bombings that have taken place in the Al-Askari Mosque. There were two bombs detonated by multiple men dressed as Iraqi special forces. No injuries or deaths were reported, but there were hundreds killed in retaliation for the destruction of this sacred mosque. -
