October 12th, 2016 Avon visit to Queretaro plant
(Buyer and Purchasing Manager from MI) - Did not want to transfer until full processes in the plant. May 6th, 2017 Avon requested OEM approvals
to start communication with them -
Visit Akwel Orizaba
April 12th, 2018 visit to Akwel plant in Orizaba, Veracruz.
Meeting with Purchasing and Engineering team. April 23rd,2018 Conference call with Purchasing team for
the follow up.
Commitment: FM to provide documentation /Test reports for
the products in transfer to request the approvals to OEM´s
(FCA, GM and Ford). -
Test Reports
July 2nd.,2018 Test reports sent to Akwel to work with the OEM´s for the approval July 17th. Purchasing Akwel informs they are reviewing the information August 9th Purchasing Akwel informs there have been some changes at the Engineering area and the new members have started to review again the documentation. FM asking for a new meeting -
Second Visit
August 22nd Visit to Akwel Plant.
Meeting with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Product management team.
August 30th. Akwel team (Purchasing and Quality) visits Qro. Plant.
Commitments: FM to complete the test reports, exit
and new PPAPs
Target date: September 26th. 2018
