Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris was an agreement between the United States and Great Britain and it ended the American Revolution. The treaty helped recognize the United States independence, and made the British forces have to leave the 13 original colonies. -
Call of the Estate General
In France they had a group of people called Estates, and they helped thing king with decision making when he asked. They did not hold any large power and did not often meet either. But on June 13th, 1789 the third estate came together with a few others from the first and second estate to form the National Assembly and they created laws and started to run the country. Tennis Court Oath
This oath was taken by the National Assembly (refer back to Call of the Estate General) to promise not to disband or give up until a new French Constitution was devolped. -
Storming of the Bastille
the Bastille was stormed by Parisian revolutionaries and Mutinous troops because it represented the tyranny of the Bourbon monarchs. This storming made the beginning of the French Revolution noticed. -
March on Versailles
Many women armed themselves and marched their way to Paris to Versailles and demanded bread. They targeted their anger towards Marie Antoinette. This mob succeeded breaking into the palace, but the Queen slipped away, getting away safely. -
Execution of the King
The King was a poor ruler, and the people no longer wanted to be a Monarchy, and he was executed. Later on his wife followed and was also executed. -
Reign of Terror
Anyone who was against the Revolution or spoke bad about the National Assembly was killed. This new government however did not help with the issues. The leader (insert name) was also exuctued. -

Mexico Gains Independence
Napoleon’s occupation of Spain led to the outbreak of revolts all across Spanish America. On August 24, 1821, O’Donojú signed the Treaty of Córdoba, thus ending New Spain’s dependence on Old Spain.
