Kenya and Tanzania start to herd animals. They started herding animals, and got more cattle out of it. Kenya and Tanzania’s trade increased because they had many animals in their inventory. This increase in animal stock had made Kenya and Tanzania super popular in the trading community. -

The first Nubian pyramids were built. The Nubians were initially conquered by the Egyptians, and for centuries lived under Egyptian administration. After the Egyptian dynasties fell into disarray, Nubia broke free and became its own empire, even conquering the Egyptians for a time. -

This was an important date because of all the trading, the reason why is because it helped all of the tribes. Since trading was very popular during this time, all the Indians, Arabs, and Persians went crazy. They were excited because they can get a lot of good trades and resources from these types of trades. The trading routes were packed. During their time they did not have a lot of stuff, so that's why they were excited about these trades. -

King Solomon and Queen of Sheba take the throne. They take the throne, and establish Askum. The people rejoiced, because Askum is the first Ethiopian Kingdom, it became a new home for many people. -

King Ezana (of Aksum) converts to Christianity. Once the King had converted, the entirety of Aksum had converted. Aksum provided what we know today as the Ethiopian Orthodox Church for the people of Aksum. -

This date is important because it shows the evolution of religion in Africa. Christianity reaches the kingdom of Dongola which is present-day Sudan. There was a small community of Christians in Africa from the 6th to 15th century which started spreading the religion around. -

King Kashta unites Nubia. Upper Nubia once again became independent, but due to the nearly five centuries of Egyptian dominance, it is now distinctly Egyptian. The kings of Kush ruled for centuries and eventually established Meroe, their capital.
