Children refused to be pushed around and went to Little Rock school, whites were angry and began insulting and hitting the. Eisenhower soon order troops to protect.

Were a group of educated teens, that traveled through the South in order to get equality for African Americans they faced lots of problems and their lives were at stake.

Member who staged lone protests against racial segregation. He was murdered on his final protest.
The African Americans realized that it was some whites that were trying to get rights for blacks. -
Birmingham fight
Police attack all the children who were not stopping trying to get civil rights for African Americans. The police used unnesscary force with dogs and fire hoses.
It made people realize that African Americans couldn't even go to school without being hurt. -
Medgar Evers
Was an African-American civil rights activist from Mississippi involved in efforts to overturn segregation at the University of Mississippi.
He helped with getting segregation for Afircan Americans -
Church
Three young girls who arrived at church early to practice their art where killed by whites. They were walking down a back stair way when a bomb exploded killing the three innocent girls.
This made people all around note that innocent African Americans were being killed. -

The Klan began to beat the church members and burned the church. Schwerner learned of the fire and he, James Chaney, and Andrew Goodman, who were all going to a three-day CORE seminar in Oxford, decided to return to Longdale to investigate the Mount Zion Church incident.

Jimmie Lee Jackson
Was a civil rights protestor who was shot and killed by Alabama State Trooper James Bonard Fowler in 1965.[1] Jackson was unarmed.
His death became a important act in the Civil War. -
I Have a Dream
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr a major part in African Americans lifes and the Civil Rights movement He was assassinated at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4, 1968, at the age of 39. King was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:05PM that evening.
This showed all people that we should finally come together.
