Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was a street fight that occurred between a "patriot" mob, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, and a squad of British soldiers. Several colonists were killed and this led to a campaign by speech-writers to rouse the ire of the citizenry. -
Tea Act
The only people who could sell tea to the Colonists was the British East India company. The colonists refused to buy the tea because they believed the british were trying to create a monopoly. -
Intolerable Acts
There were new unfair laws that were created for example Bostons port was closed until they could make up for all the lost tea.
