    I helped someone make positive choices by finding recipes for them to try. They ate a lot of fast food and wanted to try making healthier food at home. “Many teens rely on vending machine snacks, fast food and on-the-go sugary sports drinks or sodas for fuel during the day.” (Hilliard City Schools). By changing your diet to get the nutrition your body needs, you’ll become healthier and have the energy you need throughout the day.

    Technology, while useful, can unintentionally cause someone to engage in unhealthy behaviors, such as becoming obese. Those who spend 3+ hours a day watching TV “have a 65% higher chance of being obese.” (Hilliard City Schools).

    Simple changes in diet can also help someone to become fit. Snacking on “complex carbohydrates and lean protein for snacks-- for example low-fat string cheese with whole grain crackers, or raw veggies dipped in hummus.” (Hilliard City Schools).
