1.The number of people that can be successfully integrated
For the integration to be successful there cannot be way too many people. If we follow Tilo's plan we can accommodate around 7.000 people which is 14% of our population.
  • 2.Accommodation

    2.Accommodation
But where are all these people going to stay? In cooperation with UNHCR we can set up some purpose-built camps. We can also offer any vacant abandoned houses. Lastly hotels can accommodate refugees and NGOs can undertake to pay a nominal rent.

3.The kind of entreprneuship that can be developed
After the refugees are settled we can invite them to help in farming which is really important for our local economy.
  • 4.The ways our school can help

4.The ways our school can help
Our school can help in many ways. First of all the teachers and students can teach the refugees Greek (especially the children) and help them communicate with the locals. We can also donate some necessary things like clothes, food and toys for the children. Lastly we can create a fundraising event and raise money that will be used to cover some of their needs.

5.The potential benefits for the community
There are also many ways that our local community can benefit from the refugees. For instance, they will boost the local economy since they will be spending their money in local businesses. Another benefit is that schools with not so many students will increase their population since the refugee children will be attending.
