The storming of the Bastille was one reason for the start of the french revolution. Over 1000 commoners gathered at the Bastille and demanded gunpowder from the military leader of the bastille. when he refused, they tried breaking into the main fortress, and the soldiers got scared and started shooting into the crowed. -

The Tennis Court Oath was an oath made by the National Assembly. it was made to try and keep having meetings and trying to get their constitution. This was the first step in forming an organized protest against the french government. -
