Working with my dad
For one summer my dad took me and my brother to work with him every day. We learned how to really a mix design test for asphalt, that is what he does. And I feel like going to work with him really made me see like what is it like to have a job and be an adult. We had to wake up around 4 or 5. Working with my dad for that summer made me feel like an adult. It was like I had a job and I had more responsibilities than just sitting at home. It made my personality change and be a little more mature. -
Band
Band has really shaped my life. I've made a lot of friends in band and its just been a big part of my life. Its one of the only things that I actually enjoy in school. And its something I might want to keep doing later on in life. It's something that takes a lot of effort and time and I feel like it made me want to apply effort and time like that to just about everything I do. -
Working out
For one summer my mom made me and after a couple months, my brother go to the gym. It made me feel more grown up and more confident about my self. And I think that stuck with me even after we stopped going. The mature and being more confident. -
Destiny
. I know this is dumb but Destiny is a video game but I've played it and the second one for about 4 or 5 years. And I've made a lot of friends on this game, one of them his name is Josh and I've known him all of those 4 or 5 years. And I feel like even though I've never met him, I feel like our friendship has shaped my personality a little bit. Also, I feel like its opend me up a little bit more and just helped me in some different ways. i'm also amzing at that game. -
Moving
I use to be neighbors with Gage Yelverton and his brother drift. I've known them my whole life and it's weird that there not across the street anymore. They have defiantly influenced my life just being some of my first friends and being really close ones. I don't know how to describe how moving and my friendship with them changed me. They were there ever since I could walk and talk. They didn't really change me. they were just like brothers. I learned from them and grew up with them. -
High School
I feel like it made me open up a little bit. I'm not as quite even though I haven't said a word in your class but still, I think it helped me a lot in not being so awkward when I'm talking to people I've never met before, maybe because of all the projects and how it is part of every class. High school changed me by improving communication skills and again that more mature feeling. The feeling that I'm growing up because I am. -
