The first day of high school was very intersting I didnt know many people. The halls were crouded and the class rooms were small. I knew no one in my camp but looking back from then to now, I'm close with my camp, and I love all of my classes well most of them anyway. I was in all honors this year and it wasnt all that hard. But freshamn year will always be something I remeber. -

You need to think!!
Yeah really you do. Thinking while you read helped me to better understand the plot and the characters themselfs. This is called being metacognitive. Being able to be aware of ones thoughts while reading helps people better understnad what they are reading. -
Friday night lights
The first performance for me wasnt all that scary. I just seen it as another practise. When I walked off the feild that night i had a feeling of accomplishment. I knew the charts and had the music memoriezed I was ready to go. The drum majors gave there comands "dress form dress; ready front; horns up" and we were off taking that first step was always nerve raquing and getting off step was always an issue but somehow I managed to make it through and back to that feild every friday night after. -
Lights out
The black out game was amazing except for the fact that someone decided to turn our lights back on halfway through our show. We were forced to watch the poms girls and that was not fun for me. The show was our regular show but we were covered in glow sticks. It was really fun and i cant wait o do it again -
Im no superman
The project I choose was if I was in charge of the world. I really liked this project because there wasn't any rules. I got to choose what I wanted to put here. I wrote about what my erfec world would be and in that world there would be no more hurt and people would care about each other. I think ill try defying gravity
I loved the Character of Elphaba because she doesnt see herself as all that different even though her skin is green. This story is an amazin tale of love heartbreak and friendship. -
We are the champions well sorta
That day we came in second. According to Mr. S we hadnt places at the tournament ´dof champions in a long time. -
Swingsets and Sunsets
My relationship with Zachary Scott Bailey lasted for most of the school year. It tought me about love and just how amazing it is when you find it. The story behind the title is when he first told me he loved me we were on the swings by the lake at sunset. A moment i will never forget -
Stronger than you appear
Another new friend I made this year didnt exactly help me with getting over Zach (which still hasnt happened) but she helped me threw the relationship always goin out with me and Zach. She was a main part of the relationship she helped me through it. And Even now with her relationship over she still manages to keep a smile on her face and help me laugh of te sadness if just for a moment shes one of the most amazing peple ive ever met and i dont know where i would be without her ~Kylie Rae King~ -
Hes Alive
Finding Jesus was a big part of the year for me. I never thought I would but one day i opened my eyes and he was just kind of there. When i found him I joined this group called the New Generation Singers. I love being apart of new g it feels like another family other then my actual family and my friends oh and the band! -
As we stumble along
This show was Bentons first musical since 1999 so it was kind of a big deal. A lot went on over those four gloriuse nights, the first time I was every involved in a production. The musical was amazing. The show itself and eveything that happened back stage we had amazing actors, set design, costums people, lights ,pit band, and every other aspect of this show was absolutly amazing -
WEATHER or not
That night New Generation Singers was supposed to be performing with the St. Joseph Symphony and singing our own christmas show. There was a big storm that night and we were stuck at the theater without the symphony. The musicians were stuck on a bus on its way to the theater. I hadnt been apart of the group for long so I only knew the material for the christmas show. We needed to stale so I had no idea what they were singing! -
New Friends
You would think that you couldnt be best friends with your exs new girl but we became the best of friends. She tought me some intersting ways to let out anger at people without anyone getting hurt and for that id like to thank her also shes always been there for me through anything and everything ive went through I know i can always talk to her about anything and she can talk to me. Shes my big fish and i dont know where i would be without her ~Abby Fisher~ -
Bright Blue Eyes
This year I got a better understanding of what imagery was.. Imagry is vivid language that appeals to one or more of the five sences. In that moment his eyes were as bright as the sun and the stars thmselfs. It was a if his eyes were the doors to my forever. The bright blue of them reminding me so much of the ocean and how they were alike. Thinking of them and the ocean made me think about the salty air and the sound of the waves gently crashng against the shore. -
Birthday fun
That was probably the most fun i had in one night we were playing truth or dare. I was still with Zach at the time and we ended up playing hide and seek in the dark. I have some found memories from that night that i will never forget!! -
Son of a mother WITCH!!
We had a big cast for this prodution. It was hectic and dramatic but I loved every second of this I learned that the more people you add to an equation the more chaotic. But everythings not just drama and chaios with a sixty member cast. You also hve a lot of love were one team one family really we all started out in the same place and are working for the same thing comic perfection. -
The four shall succeed
We had a saxophone quartet made of two altos (me and daniel) one tenor (sydney) and a bari (kayleigh) we went to districs with our song Rondino. We would have receved a one or top honors if our band teacher woud have given us enough material to fill our time but e didnt so we recieved a two -
Sing it out
On this day I had my choir audition. Auditioning by myself would have been nerve wracking enough but on top of that there were several memebers of Benton Singers in there as well as other people doing there auditions. I would have been okay st doing it with the other auditions but Zach was in the room while i was auditioning nd the made me even more nervouse than I needed to be. Nerves or not I made choir -
The story of a soldier
A project that we had to do was we had to write about a war and i wrote about the holocaust. My story was about a soldier who joined the nazi party then after working there for some time he decided that it asnt worth it and joined the liberation. -
Pulling me to you
The trueth i realized this year was that some people have the ability to pull others into them like a tide. When they pull you in the keep you close and never let go. Those people are few and far between but when you find one you will know. These people just have this aura to them this sence of life. Just like the tides these people you can say basically know everything without being a know it al they are wise. Falling for one isnt the best idea but if you do it could be something amazing.
